Upon introduction, the 2011 Buick Lucerne CX is equipped with a standard 3.9-liter, V6, 227-horsepower, flexible fuel engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. The 2011 Buick Lucerne Super  is equipped with a standard 4.6-liter, V8, 292-horsepower engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 23-mpg on the highway.
